How We Scan Your Precious Cine Films
Carefully Scanned Frame by Frame in Our UK Studio
Each cine film is first carefully inspected and prepared by our experienced technicians. We then use our Professional Frame-by-Frame Film Scanning Equipment to digitally capture every individual frame in Full HD 1080p, preserving your precious memories with greater detail and clarity.
Once scanned, we carry out various Digital Video Corrections, carefully adjusting and improving the overall picture quality. We also use Advanced Digital Film Processing to reduce unwanted film grain, picture noise, dust, scratches and other imperfections that can develop over time.
Our technicians then carefully review and edit the footage, removing unwanted blank sections, damaged frames and unusable footage wherever possible, creating a smoother and more enjoyable viewing experience.
To finish, we add a little Revive Studios Magic, combining our Digital Film Restoration Techniques with years of experience to bring out the best in your original cine films, producing sharper, cleaner and brighter footage with great results.
I have recently had many very old reels of 8mm cine film, very old VHS tapes and old camcorder memory cards transferred to DVD and USB sticks. By Revive Studios. Outstanding Cine Film Conversion I sent some cine film that my father had recorded 50+ years ago to be converted into memories we could keep. Right from the start, communication was excellent and Gwyn kept me up to date with the receiving of the tapes and progress throughout. Any queries I had would be answered within a day. I was also aware that I had sent these in at the busiest time of year being Christmas but I still felt that the time it took from sending to receiving the download was relatively short, especially adding in the fact that the cine film had to be specially prepared to enable it to be digitalised. Returned Films were very well packaged and I received notifications that they were on their way. Overall a great service and result, would highly recommend and will definitely be using their services in the future
