Both services result in Ultra HD scans, but Standard Scanning includes comprehensive retouching and corrections. The final images also undergo extra enhancements and fine-tuning for a highly polished result. Budget Scanning includes full adjustments with minor retouching for certain issues. It offers great value but may not resolve all the issues inherent in old material.

Between 3200-5000 dpi for Small Slides & Negatives (Depending On Size), 4000dpi APS & Between 600-1200dpi for Photographs (Depending on Size). The Aim is to provide an Ultra HD Resolution for all Scans and we Adjust the Scan Rate to Achieve this.

We provide a minimum output of 4K Ultra HD for all scanned images and adjust the scan rate for different formats and sizes to achieve this. The images will be full screen and compatible with all devices from small phones and digital photo frames to huge TV sets and computer screens.

Its a non contact infrared digital cleaning system that helps to remove surface dirt, scratches and marks. This compliments our Cleaning, Professional retouching and is used as standard on all single image colour slides, colour film and colour negatives. Please see our guides for futher information.

Yes, we offer full size uncompressed 48BIT TIFF or DNG RAW Files as an extra to our standard scanning services. This is an extra cost. Please see our guides for more details.

For a single or small group of photos then we aim to provide your restored images within 1-2 buisness days. Larger projects would have a similar timescale as scanning and transfer projects.
